Dear grandmother,

I hope this letter finds him in good health like the last time I saw him. I’m fine and I thought I’d take this moment to say hello and thank you for the books you gave me during our last visit. You always seem to know what kind of books I like.

The weather has been beautiful here and we are all doing great. I hope grandpa is well, please give him my regards. How are those tomatoes in your garden? I remember you were going to plant those tomatoes right before I left for Minnesota, please let me know how they are doing.
