Facilitate weight loss

I have said many times that if you want to be successful in losing weight you have to make it as easy as possible for yourself.

It seems like most people considering losing weight go through a vicious cycle and recently there was an article on the science behind Fat Bastard’s words on Austin Powers: “I eat because I’m depressed and I’m depressed because I eat.”

I don’t know if I agree with the depressed part, but if you call it stress, I can definitely see where you are coming from.

Most people, it seems, will go on vacation or have a stressful event in their lives and will eat with total abandon for a period of a few days to a few weeks, while feeling guilty about the way they eat. Finally, they decide that it is time to act together and are extremely rigid and strict with themselves, in terms of diet, for a few days or a couple of weeks.

This is all very well, except that being extremely strict with yourself is difficult. It’s really no wonder they give up after a while considering they’ve been stressed out a lot.

There have also been numerous studies that say that willpower is a conscious act in the brain that requires a lot of energy. Many people do not have that energy and the only place they can get it is through more sugar in the blood and later in the brain.

With all of this considered, it’s easy to see why losing weight is so difficult.

So where does that leave us?

As I said at the beginning of this article and will probably say many more times, if you want to be successful, you have to make it easy for yourself.

So how do we do that?

Well, if we consider that long-term weight loss is a long, damn journey and not just something that can happen in a few days or weeks, we have to get used to what life will be like as we lose weight. .

Personally, calorie tracking has given me success, and it will be successful for you if you stick with it.

So, considering that, what is the easiest way to count calories? Just get used to it.

Start by simply recording everything you eat, even if you choose not to eat well.

There are numerous apps, websites, and programs that can help with this and finding the one that works for you is important too, but that’s another topic for another article.

Pretty soon, you’ll get used to logging your food, it takes a couple of weeks for that habit to form, but once it does, you may consider adjusting your calorie intake.

Weight loss really comes down to calories coming in versus calories going out, as I have said many times before, so I personally believe that counting calories is the best way to lose weight, but there are a host of other methods for help you on your journey. .

The point I’m trying to make is that whatever path you choose, don’t just jump into it. Think about it and try to consider what would make it easier for you to stick with that program for a long time, say a few months or a couple of years. How are you going to get used to it? How are you going to keep up with that?

Any major lifestyle change requires a lot of mental energy.

A good analogy is starting a business, you wouldn’t jump into something you thought could make you money, right? You have to plan, you have to get your ducks in order before starting anything that is going to have a big impact on your life.

Weight loss is difficult, what is the best and easiest way to do it without having trouble going on for a long time?

My advice, think about it a bit.
