EODD 2.0 – What are the SNAPP foods?

The Every Other Day Diet Plan or (EODD) is taking the dieting world by storm, and for good reason. EODD is more than just a diet – it’s a complete lifestyle change plan. Author Jon Benson is a nutrition and fitness expert who enjoys helping people lose weight in a healthy way. He invented the SNAPP EODD 2.0 program to help people who often struggle with weight loss.

Now every diet plan ever invented tells you what to eat and in what amounts to induce weight loss. So what makes Jon’s plan different from all the others?

The truth is, Jon developed a system to help himself first. You see, he once stood in your shoes. He had gotten fat and really needed a way to get rid of the extra pounds. There was just one problem: he hated dieting.

So, as a person who wanted to lose weight and keep it off forever, I knew I needed to find something that would allow me to continue enjoying the foods I loved, while losing weight and gaining it back.

After much study, trial, and error, Jon was able to transform his own chubby body into a slimmer, fitter appearance. Once he knew it worked, he was determined to share his knowledge with everyone else. Good thing too, because, as we all know, there is an obesity epidemic in our society.

So what are SNAPP foods?

The SNAPP system translates to shakes, nuts, apples, protein, and produce. It’s basically an easy way to remember the foods you need to eat on a regular basis. The EODD plan is so flexible that you actually have five different eating plans to follow. Each plan is based on the particular needs of the dieter.

Eating plans range from beginner to extreme. Each plan contains SNAPP foods. This makes things extremely simple for everyone. There is no mystery about what kind of food you are going to eat. And, what’s really cool is that when you’re on the first plan, you can enjoy an “anything goes” meal every other day.

This is the basis of the Every Other Day diet plan. But I must say that the healthy meals in the plan will also be enjoyable for most people. Of course, you have to be really serious about getting in shape. Being on this plan doesn’t mean you can eat unbelievable amounts of unhealthy food.

Okay, here’s an inside look at SNAPP foods:

Shakes – These are not the kind of shakes you get at your local fast food place. Jon’s plan includes lots of healthy shakes that contain fresh fruits and vegetables. For example, there is a vegetable smoothie made with broccoli, onion and bell pepper. There’s a fruit smoothie made with blueberries, cherries, and grapefruit.

Nuts – Almonds and walnuts are used strategically to keep your metabolism going and prevent your body from going into starvation mode. When you think about it, nuts make a great snack, plus their texture, flavor, and crunchiness create a bit of a foodie buzz in your mouth, as well as in your tummy.

Apples – You’ve probably already heard that apples have health benefits. Well, it seems they’re also great for weight loss. Apples contain natural sugar, fiber, and other nutrients. Best of all, there are several tasty varieties that you can easily find at your local grocery store.

Protein: There’s no getting around the fact that as humans, we need protein. The SNAPP plan includes lean proteins such as chicken, beef, fish, and beans. You’ll get recipes that show you various ways to prepare these foods.

Produce – Yes, this means fruits and vegetables. If you’re serious about losing a significant amount of fat, you’ll gladly indulge in a plethora of products.

The plan also includes many delicious and easy-to-prepare recipes that incorporate SNAPP foods. This is more or less a “no-brainer” type of diet that anyone can do if they have the desire. Add Jon Benson’s Fitness Plan and you’ll be amazed at the results you can achieve.
