Tea vacation season – again – fast approaching. Parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters, even godparents, are already lurking in gift shops and toy stores looking for the perfect little girl. This task is quite cumbersome, especially when looking for items that the children have not received yet. If Santa Claus really existed, then gift-giving would never have been placed on the shoulders of adults. Fortunately, a recreational game called Airsoft has caused quite a stir among children. And the Airsoft gun maker understands this, which is why it released mini versions of adult-sized Airsoft guns to cater to the eager children.
Here are some mini guns to choose from. All of them are designed and manufactured to be safe for children, with enough firepower to stain a sheet of paper with holes in it or make an empty soda can quiver with fear. They all have a functional safety knob to prevent accidental firing and cost approximately $15-$20 on different websites.
HFC G36 Mini Electric Airsoft Pistol: Based on the G3 Airsoft rifles, this pistol is manufactured by HFC (Ho Feng Corp.) and can fire 0.12g pellets with a muzzle velocity of 150 fps and a range of 15 to 40 feet. This is all plastic and is very well replicated from the popular Heckler & Koch G36 design due to its superior firepower.
UHC MP5 A5 Mini Electric Airsoft Gun – This gun is usually seen used by law enforcement agencies especially SWAT. This version of the Airsoft MP5, like the mini G36, fires 12g pellets from its 3.5-inch (9cm) barrel at a velocity of 150 fps. The standard magazine can hold 100 rounds, giving kids more time to shoot.
UHC UZI Mini Electric Airsoft Gun – This Airsoft Uzi includes the folding stock that can be seen from the real Israeli machine gun. It employs a hop system for a longer BB waiting time and although it holds relatively fewer rounds, it is easier to reload than any other Airsoft mini gun.
