Body Types: Do you like the way you look?

I like how you look no matter how you look.

CAN HE TRANSFORM INTO A DIFFERENT BODY TYPE?

Did you know that there are three different body types? We all fit into one of these types, or we may have elements of several. They are: Endomorph is a heavy body with a smooth rounded shape. Mesomorph is a well developed muscular body. Ectomorph is a long and slender body. Bill Clinton, John Goodman, and Roseanne Barr are endomorphs. Arnold Schwarzenegger, Daryl Hannah, and Kevin Costner are mesomorphs. Mia Farrow, Anthony Perkins, and Fred Astaire are ectomorphs.

DOES IT MATTER WHAT BODY TYPE YOU ARE?

Which one are you? Really do not care. Whatever your body type, you can’t change it. What’s important to remember is that regardless of your body type, you can be healthy by eating right and exercising regularly. An important truth to remember for all body types is that regular exercise and healthy eating will make you look your best and give you more energy. If you look better and have more energy and let it shine, others will notice too. This is extremely important because of the unrealistic “ideal” body that is perpetuated in the media. I can assure you that there are people with these bodies who are not healthy. I also know people who have a little bit of excess body fat who are very healthy from the quality of the food they eat and the active lifestyles they lead.

THIS IS WHAT CAN CHANGE

What you can change is how you feel about how you look. Your feelings about your appearance are closely related to how you feel about yourself. Are you really going to start liking yourself once you reach that ideal weight and appearance? What if you never make it? Does that mean you won’t accept or like yourself as much? If your thoughts have led you to believe that you must first achieve that ideal weight before you can truly be satisfied or like yourself, you are in for a rude awakening. You wouldn’t treat a friend like that, because you know that the true value of a friend is not his appearance or his state of health. You will not find happiness like this and therefore you will probably have a harder time achieving some of your goals in life because you will have stolen your greatest motivator. That’s you.
