About EFT, often called tapping

EFT, short for Emotional Freedom Techniques, is an energy modality that aims to correct the body’s energy flow with respect to any specific emotion, where an emotion is any mind-body-spirit reaction to any “emotional” , physical. , or spiritual trauma. It is used by independent EFT practitioners, doctors, nurses, physical therapists, nutritionists, personal trainers, psychologists, and self-help workers who want to improve their lives in specific goal-oriented, mind, body and spirit ways.

EFT is believed to release energy interruptions that block free-flowing energy in the mind-body-spirit, that is, the energy body. These blocks used to be completely ignored, with a psychologist, for example, believing that a childhood event is the reason the client exhibited unwanted feelings or behaviors, and physical therapists believed that it was simply that accident that caused the constant physical pain. Then it was discovered that what actually seems to happen is that the initial trauma leaves an energetic imprint on the energy body. So it is relatively easier and faster to release this energy imprint than years of psychotherapy or physical therapy alone. And these are just two examples.

A really good EFT practitioner will have no qualms about teaming up with, say, a psychologist or physical therapist to achieve their client’s fastest, safest, and most efficient optimal health. After all, EFT is a complementary modality, complementary to other approaches. With that said, it’s often just about releasing the energy blocks and optimal health is achieved. Every case is different and that’s okay.

An EFT, or Tapping session, involves tapping with your fingertips on special acupressure points that are easily accessible, while using a targeted release wording.

To try EFT, you can download a free guide or watch free videos on the website of many EFT practitioners. You can also research local EFT classes or workshops in your area, or dive in and book a session with a practitioner you like. Read the websites of some professionals, see who you are attracted to, and give them a call or email them for more information. Remember, they don’t need to be local to you, as many work through Skype, a popular medium for tapping sessions.

If it’s not for you right now, at least you know more about it and can research it when needed. If you are reading this article to help a friend or loved one, remember that you may be interested in trying EFT or not ready to move on yet. Something new can be scary, especially if you have experienced it yourself and are excited; which can bring out conservative feelings of over-caution in some people. Give them time, and when they’re ready, they may ask you for more details.

I hope this helps you and I wish you and your loved ones health and happiness always.
