5 Reasons I’ve Lost Faith In American Politics!

It seems that this nation, instead of proactively addressing the true needs and priorities, which exist, simply continues to procrastinate and postpone, taking well-considered and timely action, in the best interests of our country, the citizens, and the planet, both in the present and in the future. I’ve gotten to the point where I don’t approve of the famous line from the movie either, Network, “I’m crazy as hell and I won’t take it anymore” or become more and more apathetic, because nothing seems to change, for the better, regardless of who we choose! Have you ever wondered if one of the few well-meaning elected officials ever wonders why he wanted that position, out of obvious frustration and disappointment, caused, in large part, by a lack of necessities? , getting, achieved? Even those things, which seem like they should be common sense, and not political, continue to fall into the partisan traps of the American political system. With that in mind, this article will try, briefly, to identify, consider, review and discuss, 5 specific reasons, I feel like I do.

1. Nothing significant / necessary changes or is addressed, realistically: Too often elected officials, instead of serving and representing citizens and the relevant and sustainable needs and priorities of our nation and planet, we only witness empty rhetoric and promises, procrastination (postpone, over and over, again), and your personal / political agenda, and / or your self-interest, prioritized, over common sense and the best interests of the world. We have been warned, for many decades, about the need to protect our environment, in order to preserve, clean the air and water, and therefore public health, now and in the future! However, some today still proclaim that this is some kind of hoax, denying the need for action, sooner rather than later! Similarly, Climate Change, the deniers, hurts us all! The selective interpretation of our rights and freedoms, instead of protecting all our constitutional guarantees, threatens the identity of the United States! Regardless, to many politicians, it seems that they do not care, or find inconveniences, many truths, etc.

2. Both sides lie. and they are hypocrites: It is not as if one political side is pure, while the other is not! Rather, we witness where both sides meet, when convenient, and support their perspectives, and proceed, being hypocritical at best! How else can we explain, the same people, who oppose a woman’s right to choose, do not support, need, common sense, public health measures, gun safety controls, etc.?

3. Money has too much influence on politics !: The influence of money, in terms of policy and access, damages the ideology, our nation, in which it was founded! We must restrict how our elections and campaigns are run, including ridiculous expenses / costs and the length of the campaign process!

Four. Little common sense !: Unfortunately, even more than in many other aspects of our lives, there seems to be little common sense, used, in public leadership, etc. Why is it so weird? Why do we keep making the same mistakes over and over again? What happens to those candidates when they become public office holders?

5. Too much populist politics / Not enough viable solutions: When the emphasis is on populist politics, rather than doing what is best, necessary, relevant and sustainable, it clearly demonstrates a serious flaw in our political system and, to a large extent, explains why so many, many, have become. out, for politics – as – usual!

Wake up, United States, and demand changes, for the better, sooner rather than later, or, perhaps it is too late, to avoid, the loss of ideology, the reason for being of this nation, and the most relevant, sustainable, way, going – go ahead! I am much less sure that we will be able to achieve these necessary changes before it is too late.
