How to improve your prosperity consciousness and attract more money

let’s talk about money

There are many reasons to work and many reasons to grow a business that are not about money. Service and contribution can be very satisfying reasons to build a business. However, growing a successful business, or a successful career, means recognizing and embracing one of the main purposes of being in business: to make money! It means setting your goals and strategy with that goal clearly in mind. As obvious as it may seem, a surprising number of people seem to lack this clarity.

Also, many people have mixed feelings and limiting beliefs about money. Essentially, they believe that it would be greedy to actually go for the money they would like to earn, or they believe that they will have to harm others, or work too hard to get it. These types of limiting ideas/beliefs will prevent you from embracing the clarity of purpose necessary to increase the profitability of your business.

We all carry some degree of disempowering conditioning about money, from our parents, our friends and family, television, and the world in general. Most people are unhealthy with money in one of two ways: 1) they embrace the idea that money is the source of everything and therefore focus too much on making money, they sacrifice things that are important to them them and end up fighting to get their money. true needs met, or 2) they embrace the idea that money is not important and are not focused enough on making money and managing it skillfully, and these people also end up struggling to meet their true needs.

If you are so obsessed with making more money that you sacrifice your health, your relationships and have no time for fun, is that success? Not by my definition! On the other hand, if you try to pretend money isn’t important and focus on creating great health, relationships, and lots of opportunities for fun, but money issues keep leading you to struggle, limitation, and pain, that is success. ? I do not think.

You might have a fantastic strategy to achieve all your goals, but if you still harbor obsessions about money, you are likely to sabotage your own success. Obviously, you are likely to sabotage your success in the areas of career and business, but you can easily sabotage your success in other important areas as well: health, relationships, fun and recreation, etc.

“Money is extremely important in the areas where it works, and extremely unimportant in the areas where it doesn’t. And while love can make the world go round, it sure as hell doesn’t pay to build hospitals, churches.” . , or homes. It doesn’t feed anyone either. Not convinced? Try to pay your bills with love. Still not sure? Then go to the bank and try to deposit some love and see what happens.” – T. Harv Eker, Secrets of the Millionaire Mind

Money is an essential element of life. If I were dying of thirst in the desert, I’d rather have a glass of water than a million dollars in my bank account, but if I were to have an accident and need surgery to save my leg, that money would surely come in handy. ! Money is woven into the fabric of our social structures, and unless you want to live in a cave and scavenge for food with a sharp rock, you need money to live.

Negative ideas about money are passed down from generation to generation, and you have probably inherited at least some of the following beliefs. See if any of these sound familiar:

  • Money does not grow on trees.
  • money is the root of evil
  • The rich are greedy
  • It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of God.
  • It is more illuminating to be poor than rich
  • Most of the people probably did something bad or dishonest to get your money.
  • Having a lot of money will make me less spiritual or pure.
  • Getting rich requires too much work and struggle.
  • Having a lot of money is a big responsibility.
  • Realistically, chances are I’ll never be rich.
  • Getting rich is a matter of luck or destiny
  • Getting rich is not for people like me
  • Striving for wealth won’t allow much time for anything else in life
  • To be rich you have to take advantage of people
  • If I get rich, everyone will want something from me.
  • If I get rich, there are certain people in my life who won’t like it, or I
  • If I have a lot of money, it means someone else is going to have less.
  • Having a lot of money means you are greedy
  • I am not very good in the area of money and finances
  • If I get a lot of money, I might lose it
  • This is simply not the right time for you to start doing it, financially
  • money isn’t really that important
  • You cannot strive for wealth and be happy and fulfilled at the same time.
  • money causes trouble
  • Trying to make money is a hassle and a struggle.
  • people should only have the amount of money they need to live comfortably
  • Striving for wealth causes stress and health problems
  • Most of the good opportunities are gone
  • i’m not smart enough
  • I’m not educated enough
  • I am too young
  • I am too old
  • I do not like to sell or promote
  • I wish I didn’t have to deal with money
  • I don’t enjoy managing money.
  • I don’t have time to manage money.
  • I don’t need to manage my money because I hardly have
  • The rich are not happy
  • It is useless to earn a lot of money because I will have to pay more taxes
  • Investments are for people who have a lot of money.
  • Most investments, apart from the bank, are too risky.

Unfortunately, when it comes to making money, saving money, managing money, and investing money, most people focus primarily on technical strategies. Meanwhile, their limiting beliefs and attitudes hold them back. Effective technical strategies are essential, but without addressing the psychological level, you are going to spin the wheels and sabotage your efforts.

If you want to create a dramatic improvement in your level of financial success, you must actively recondition your mind for success and improve your prosperity consciousness. The best book I have found to change the way you think about money is “Secrets of the Millionaire Mind: Mastering the Inner Game of Wealth” by T. Hav Eker. Personally, I bought the book on CD, so I could listen to it in my car over and over again. You may want to do the same.

I also recommend identifying your top negative beliefs about money and making a conscious effort to change them. I invite you to circle any of the statements above that resonate with you, and write down any additional limiting beliefs/ideas you may have about money. Then work with your coach or get support to transform those beliefs.

EXERCISE

If you are already wealthy, or have some abundant source of income, and are in business simply for the joy of serving, it is good to be clear about that fact. Whatever your purpose, it’s empowering to be clear.

I invite you to state, in writing, your purpose for being in business, and include something about money.
