How to prevent antibiotic side effects with probiotics

Probiotics have been shown to prevent and treat common antibiotic side effects, such as

  • Diarrhea

Some forms of antibiotics, especially cephalosporins, clindamycin, or fluoroquinolones, induce colitis, an inflammation of the large intestine, in some people. • during the period of taking antibiotics, take two or more doses of probiotics during the day. Take probiotics at least 3 hours Other than antibiotics. Taking both at the same time simply defeats the purpose as the drug will totally destroy the friendly bacteria.
  • Get a variety of bacteria by eating yogurt and kefir or supplementing with six different strains of bacteria.
