We live in a world that desperately needs positive influences like yours. As a believer who has been saved by a risen Christ. You know how Jesus has touched your heart and changed your life. You see, when you decided to walk in the footsteps of the Lord, that meant you agreed to be a disciple seven days a week.
But I want you to know that the devil is working day and night in an attempt to rearrange your priorities. How will he try to do it? He will tell you lies! He will also make you doubt! Why? Because lies and doubt are some of the most important tools the devil uses to achieve his goals. The evil one, the devil, who wants to discourage you and will make you feel like you don’t have what it takes to be of value to God.
The Word says that you are a new creation! The old man has passed away! The new has arrived! You are now free from the power of darkness. Now walk through the Word into the realm of light. Now you accept Jesus as the authority of your life and obey him. Now you build your spiritual house on the rock that cannot be moved. You see, God’s spiritual scriptures are not choices, they are rules for living by Him.
The devil will keep reminding you of your past and will lie to you over and over again, telling you about your sins of weakness to keep you stuck in life. This is not the way to live the higher life that God has prepared for you. Hallelujah, you have a whole new life with Jesus Christ to look forward to, starting right now!
God wants you to stay focused on Him and His great plan for the new you. The Word of God and the Son of him have the power to change and change your life in a world full of deceptive messages. But as long as you are on the battlefield of this world, God can give you victory through Jesus.
Don’t let the devil’s lies stop you! As you read God’s Word, put into practice what he has learned. I want you to know that the devil will continue to bring out the old you. He is trying to confuse you! The devil will say negative things about the new you. But you must develop staying power! You have to hold on, staying with God’s Word for yourself.
It is a lifelong quest to become more like Jesus! Your new life is about the new you! But the devil wants you to complain and have a negative attitude about dedicating your life to God. But the new you is completely dedicated and committed to Jesus. You are a person of the Word! You see, one of the reasons you learn the Word is so you can defeat the devil with it. Like Jesus did!
It is an honor to give your life to the Lord! But the devil will try to convince you that other things are more important than that. But Jesus wants you to know that you are a new creation through Him! He wants to awaken you into spiritual truth! Now, raise your hands and say, “The old me is gone, I have a new identity in Jesus.”
