Getting a PlayStation 3, without a pre-order and before Christmas, will be a difficult challenge, but it can be done. Call different stores and try to gather information. You’ll generally get the same general information at most stores, such as “You need to be on a list” and “It’s going to be hard to get one this time of year.” Regardless of the answers you get, be sure to ask about shipping dates and how to sign up for the store list. Most stores will give this information freely, giving you a bit of an edge over other consumers who are not as smart as you are. Remember to keep looking in stores and see what comes up.
If you don’t need the PlayStation 3 as soon as it launches and you have some patience, don’t worry. Just wait a month or two and there should be a large number of PlayStation 3 consoles to buy from various places. Either way, you’ll get an extraordinary gameplay, but how you get it is entirely up to you.
